• Foster Home
• Transporter - We can use occasional help getting our dogs to and from the vet and the groomer. Current needs are transport between foster homes in Morgan Hill (101/Tennant), South SJ (Santa Teresa/Bayliss), and West SJ (85/De Anza Blvd) to one of two vets: Boulevard Pet Hospital on Winchester/Hamilton (Thursdays only) or San Jose Animal Hospital. The greatest need is morning drop off, which is between 8:00 and 9:00. Half an hour should be allotted to allow for paperwork or in case there is a line. Help with afternoon pickup is also welcome. Drop off/pick up from any of the fosters to/from the groomer at Blossom Hill/Snell in SJ is needed as well. Frequency is usually about twice a month.
• Social Media - Help increase our Facebook page's presence
• Grant Writing/Fundraising - Search for, track, and enroll us in opportunities such as Nickels for Nonprofits, Silicon Valley Cares, and similar programs. This person (or people) would be responsible for finding and managing small grant opportunities. Make sure we're enrolled on time, provide content so we can promote said events on our website, social media and pet fairs.
• Marketing - Small-scale production of flyers and tabletop literature or pamphlets for our adoption events.
